John Lewis give 5 year warranties on TVs so i would think that they must last a while. Not much you can do with your problem though other than try and get them to replace it. Where did you buy it from?

Bought the silver button off someone on here along with the rest of the handbrake for £15 LOL! Put my button on and sold it for £5! Again i got sills off someone on here. Paid £30 delivered but they are the old type not just the metallic vinyl.

Its always felt a bit sluggish. 2 of my mates 172FFs have no problem keeping up and a CTR passed me other day with ease. It may just all be in my head lol but tomorrow will tell i guess.
