I wet flat the primer. I only wet flat gloss if I've cocked up, and then I give it another coat. Wet flat the lacquer with the super fine grits once it's had a couple of weeks to settle by all means.

I hope you gave it another coat of colour after that, or you lacquered onto a dull finish.

Somebody has calculated this... Slightly excessive if that's the case.

There's not going to be masses of torque, torque using a bigger GT35 on the same engine peaks at 280ish lbft @ 9800rpm, power peaks at 552bhp @ 10,500rpm. He's using a smaller turbo, and there's not masses of grunt low down. That image shows a GT35 (blue) vs a GT40 (red/brown).

Plenty of knowledge in the drag scene with turboing 'busa lumps. I doubt it'll pop after 7 seconds, it'll last a bit longer.
