So whos all planning on Knockhill events!??

Cheers lads. I'll maybe get a couple things done on the car before I take it out. Would only be taking out the rear seats too. Add that to my novice status I won't be setting the lap on fire. What sort of times are realistic for a standard car with a novice behind the wheel? I know this isn't...

So whos all planning on Knockhill events!??

Want to get out on track aswell but worried I would bin it! As it's my daily it's not ideal. Fancied buying a 172 cup or the like to run but it's just not financially viable. What would I need realistically to add on the trophy? Sticky tyres and upgrade by pads and discs?

    Both would have been greedy...!

The extras alone are worth more than the clio! What a machine. Bet it cost a pretty penny

    Exhausts

Cheers Martin. I really like the pure Motorsport system but it's a fair bit of cash! I've heard good things about btm so I'll check them out

    Exhausts

Currently got a ktec system on the trophy. Its a really nice looking system but its just too loud for my liking. I do a fair bit of motorway cruising and its getting on my tits! I realise there is a lot out there..question is what do I go for? I'm looking for something not too boomy but when im...

    Apartment Life

You can have an external tap installed but you'd have to be friendly with one of the ground floor neighbours and it wouldn't be cheap

I'm in the same boat. Just have to travel to my parents and do it there. No hose outlets in the car park where I stay so not possible

    The Black Turd

Everyone talks about the k11(engine I presume) Are they bulletproof? What's the story behind them

A few issues - advice please!

Correct. Only issue is, according to garages, this is a 6-7 hour job. Must be fiddly in there

A few issues - advice please!

Clutches are heavy, squeaky, high biting on them. My trophy has a high biting point but doesn't sound as abrupt as yours. Also it won't be £800 changing the clutch. Get a clutch and cable from ecp cheap and then just have someone do the labour on it. In relation to the pulling left. That just...

Trophy dampers are a fortune. I paid a little over £200 for the pair

    Suspension fixed!

So the rear dampers on my trophy went. Car drove like a pig and felt like the rear was detached from the car. Purchased a new set and fitted them today. Massive difference and she's driving even better than before:) Very easy to fit and well worth it (apart from the price of the Sachs dampers!)

    Snow foam and lance suggestions

Dont be daft mate, no need to apologise. I was thinking the same as u. I just fancy it for ease aswell as the fact there is minimal contact with the paint. Also my birthday shortly so may aswell treat myself

    Quick before and after

I would like to do this too. I'd probably rather keep it very close to oem. Is this basically the oem colour?
