Offset is pretty simple to grasp, the lower the number (or -ve), the further it will protude from the arch (on a rim of the same diameter). The ET value is in millimetres, so the difference is how much further in our out in mm the wheel will...
Got to be a VVC'd Metro. Only downside is you'll constantly look at the Coolant Temp gauge waiting for the Head Gasket to go.
The newer head gaskets only work if liner heights are within very tight tolerances, and to build as strong a K series as possible costs £1000s, then tuning it isn't...
The thing with the Wheel Specialist is they are Franchises. I can vouch for the work Leeds do as it's my stepdad and he's a perfectionist, Manchester do a very good job too. But it's only as good as the people doing it.
Diamond cutting isn't cheap. The Wheel Specialist do some wet paint based finishes which are then powder lacquered that replicate it. It never looks as good as the real deal, but BMW dealerships and the like tend to go for it, as it's better than having shabby wheels.
