just found out that the car did swerve n lightly hit another car after the wheel gave out. He apparently turned left n the car went right. he is going to dump it at renault tho.

didn't hit anythin. Wheel gave out when going round a corner! Its a brand new mk3 ripcurl less than 2 months old!

My mate was driving to work this morning and at 30mph this happened - Sue Renault???

Any benefits from greenstuff over standard pads? Do you need to tell insurance about things like that?

Welcome to the club mate! Get some pics up!! I cant help you with 172 exhausts but i'd def either go for a stealth or cut-in job and not hung below the bumper. Everyone on here tends to go for ITG panel filters in the standard airbox. :)

No harder than clios. You will need different subframes tho which we can probs get hold of. From Cobra website - All steel framed Cobra seats are base mounted using four M8 fixing points. Basically, the old seat comes out, subframe is screwed in and seat screwed to subframe.
