Snap! Your character itself transfers but none of your gear. The trailer explained why, the tower and therefore vaults are destroyed. I wouldn't want my gear to transfer tbh, we've enjoyed it for 3 years, time to find new shiny things whilst still being in the destiny universe.

I take it you are stuck on the tower? Pull out your ghost and then hold go to orbit. Then you can select the missions on the planets.

You're at the really awkward stage, keep at it. I've posted this before but this might help you out.

Yeah iron banner has levels advantages enabled so stick to normal crucible. Pulse rifles and shotguns are the current favoured weapons. Something like the grasp of Malok or hawksaw will do you fine.
