Depends on what sentimental means to you £££ wise. If it genuinely means the world to you then ignore this thread buy new everything, throw it at a bodyshop with your credit card and pin number. If sentimental means less £££ than you thought it did then simply write it off and move on.

Ahh should have mentioned that - mind you I've only checked in my sizes! The 2's were/are fine - no complaints apart from they seem to fall off a cliff at a certain tread level!

My Asymmetric 2's are shot on the front and I was going to just replace them with another set of 2's but didn't realise the 3's were out.... Anyone tried them yet?

Which I do find interesting and no doubt will end up buying it all! I just feel sorry for some people who will suffer due to lack of funds. Have we got an ETA for all this?

Oh I agree but for a long time it was enough - you knew when you bought an N64 that it was already going to get raped performance wise by a PC straight away. But the fact you knew everyone was in the same boat made it more than acceptable. I worry for the poorer families that won't be able to...

Yeah but the whole point of a console was always it was a one time purchase, then you spend on games. Now it'll end up being just a PC with over expensive upgrades (because only one source) and already more expensive games than you have to pay for PC. I got bored throwing money at PC's years...

If you love it then get it repaired but do it properly - get plenty of quotes and show them to the chap paying and who you want to use and why.
