I'm experiencing the same, never had an issue with signal until the update, today Ive dropped down to no signal at all 3 times and I'm in the same location I was making calls fine yesterday. Great.

microsoft does patches i guess like to a windows OS, whereas sony do like apple do with the iphone, each time it needs an update you download and apply the full new firmware, people don't complain when you have to download and wait 5-10 mins + (with a fast connection) for an iphone to up...

I turned my ps3 on for the first time in months the other day and put 3 games in, all need updating and each one took less than 30 seconds, honestly.

Lol, quicker updates? The guy clearly has both, and updates to games take seconds.

Sure did, ordered last night, go an email first thing this morning saying it had been shipped, so should arrive next couple of days I guess, will let you know. Went for the g27 as it's heavier and slightly wider so I thought it would be even more stable, only cost £8 more. Very good service so...

Wheelstand pro for g27 ordered! Sure they are cheaper than when I checked last tine, when I think lee bought one. Will have it for next weekend, got f1 and gran tourismo coming io so should get some use out of it. Wanted something I can hide away in the cupboard too.

What stand is that second one the g25 is on, looks perfect? Mine is very posh, it's an ironing board! I'll take a pic of my amazing setup sometime. Steering wheel makes it so much more realistic, it's more aural turning a wheel than moving a stick, more accurate too.

i dusted (literally!) off the G25 today, not used it for about 2 years which is ridiculous, but i picked up DiRT 2 in asda for £15 and have been rinsing it, god its soooooooo much better with a wheel, the feel you get is so much better with the force feedback. can't wait to try it on F1 one.

I use this too, allows me to watch us tv from their websites.

How is buying a payg sim going to help though, as then you'll still spend a fortune on that calling back to the UK. The best way is to just text all the time and buy a phone card out there, they are dirt cheap (like £6 will get you an hour plus back to the UK) and just use them from hotel room...
