hang on, so you want the ability to watch 2 tv shows at once using one tv and a computer AND still have the ability to surf the web, and unless you can do that its not good enough, ok, jog on. I can do that though, i was watching ITV HD on my tv, the F1 using tvcatchup on my ipad and the iphone...

SMS uses the cellular network, not data network to the best of my knowledge, only MMS's use the data network. the answer is no natively i'd say, theres an app that can do it though i believe.

wait until fw 4 then next month, then you will be able to do the two at the same time if your brain can handle it ;)

Re: iPad "Must Have" Apps Press Reader is great, just got my sunday newspapers delivered to my pad this morning, all in lovely high res, even has the magazine supplements and most newspapers from around the world.

yeah, some great scenery around there, the canyon, wild wild west, national parks, LA, San Fran, goldengate bridge, alcatraz, vegas lights, i've got some good shots from around there, lots and lots of cool stuff to photograph.

i have a NYC night scene i was going to get done but i didn't know how good it would look on canvas, you can see the texture for sure, but thats part of it i guess. I have also craved an acrylic print but they are 50%+ more expensive than canvas so i really want to see one first to see whether...

for the people unimpressed, if its a vanilla one with none of the cool ipad apps on then it will look like a big touch, its when you utilise all those that you understnad the realy power of the medium. shown my mum and dad this morning and they love it, amazed by what it can do.

Re: iPad "Must Have" Apps Real racing HD is a good game and showoff app Command & conquer looks good and scrabble look ike fun using the iPad as the game board and the your iPhones as your letter holders, great idea. I can see this getting expensive.

Ah ok, there's a similar game I think called parachute panic, that has doodle in it and in HD it's very good looking

Re: iPad "Must Have" Apps Time magazine has great photos an vids Wired magazine is the most impressive interactive mag ATM Financial times app has free updates until July 31st I think (maybe too intellectual for cs?) Marvel comics - even if you aren't into comics it's cleverly done F1 timing...
