These seem very popular in France now. In the 2 weeks I've just spent there I must have seen over 20 of them. Far more than I'd see in 2 weeks here with the 1*2s.
The meg 250/275s also seem popular there too now.
I've just ordered the strip for £40. Not sure where I'll put it yet but I'm sure I'll find somewhere to fit it into the collection when I move house in a month or 2...
I got an email saying the iris was on offer for £40 the other week. Should've got it:confused:.
any will be fine but there are different generations, 3rd being the latest so go for one of those for more future proofing.
I got this one for the car the other week.

Only just seen this, your link didn't work @Feirny for some reason.
Not sure it was me though as I don't really go through Dalton other than possibly on Wakefield road? @Louis'
Made the mistake of mounting mine in the waterproof case on my 2nd outing tonight which made the sound rubbish so the best I have so far is this which is on it's default settings. Will have more of a play over the weekend. Could also do with a car mount for the dash/window tbh.
Done a quick vid and seems to work well but I had the settings wrong so just charging it and will head out in a bit. Not going to bother with 4k ever though because I have nothing to play it on and it eats battery/memory...
Decent review of it here (before the 4k firmware upgrade) for anyone...
I went with the Eken H9 from Banggood.

Mine has just arrived in less than 2 weeks since I ordered☺️.
It has also come with a firmware update to allow 25fpm @ 4k and 30 @ 2k!
Seems to be decent quality for the money although will have to wait and see what the vids are like!
@bloke did you manage to sort that printout with the 197 cams?
Not aimed at you, but there doesn't seem to be many map printouts from others who've fitted them so far in this thread. :(
The Z5 was superb. Swapped my nokia 8210 for one after the screen died for the 4th time and it was miles better.
This was my 1st phone back in 98 I think. Couldn't put the thing down for weeks when I first got it. Maxon MX-3204
Well I've just taken a punt on the one you linked above. Don't mind waiting for it and like you say it's only £38.
I've never felt I could justify the cost of a gopro and the like for the amount of use it'll get. If this looks as good as your footage I'll me more than happy!
Is the one you've posted the same brand as your 1080 vid one?
There's too many to choose from on there with different prices so would want one at least as good as the vid you posted....
Probably sales here. Although the sales of the clio in general here I'd say have been very good. See them all over the place. Far more popular than say the new Corsa!
I realise it's not cheap as such but I don't think the crash test thing is as big as people are making out. It's far cheaper to do than it used to be because most of it is done on computer simulations now with just final testing done on the real thing. Plus it should only need the front impact...
But it doesn't have to be a low volume special. That's just up to them.
It's also not that special (relatively) when it only took a team of 10 to knock it up in 5-6 months. As specials go it must come in as one of the quickest and cheapest ever (not including ones that just have a few stickers...
Tbh...
A car that isn't limited to 250 or whatever that most of us will never have the privilege to drive let alone even see one!!
From what I read somewhere earlier iirc it has a few bits stolen from a Meg 275, Kangoo and Clio 200 to make it all fit. Add a few trinkets like the seats, bodykit...
Depends on what you have but I'd be putting the hdmi to an amp (if it has it) then hdmi from the amp to projector.
Failing that hdmi to the projector and then use an optical lead to an amp.
Doing it the way you're suggesting you'd need to be using some cheap PC style speakers with amps built in...
