    Very very nearly bought one. I also looked at Cagiva Mitos and Honda NSR's. Apparently the Aprilia isn't made in Italy anymore, and the ones that have been are more desirable on the 2nd hand market.

    Could ask them if it works both ways then. If not, maybe get the inlet powdercoated instead, will be cheaper.

    I'd get it coated if only for looks. But I'd have thought that gets quite warm sat above the engine, may keep inlet air temperatures down a bit?
