I took mine to a garage to change a track rod end and spring.
I reset the trip computer before I handed it over. Said I didn't want them test driving it.
Got it back and they had done 6 miles in it with an average mpg of 17. Felt like it had been touched inappropriately :(
Can't hear my standard exhaust when on the motorway.
I only have all the rattling, wind noise and tyre noise to put up with :)
If it's that bad, get some ear plugs!
Edit again: you drive a tuscan and you're complaining about a clios noise!
I didn't realise it was you Durham that pulled up next to me when you got there!
I'm going to get out on that circuit next time, looked pretty quick down the back straight.
All was fine, until the whining rear bearing decided to give up being a bearing!
Decided to change the rear pads and discs while I was at it.
As you can see the pads were a little low...
Then splashed out on some new wheel bolts
Then I hit a pothole at some point, and ended up...
After owning a megane coupe for a year I had taken it on track a couple of times and decided I needed something with a bit more power!
The megane:
And the new clio
Gave it a little clean down to have a closer look at the paint condition, it's not perfect but can be forgiven...
