You can turn the ghost car off in the pause menu options. Go into HUD and the option is near the bottom.

Comparing photo modes has jack s**t to do with in game footage.

Well I've not played GT5 prologue, but from that video it looks no better than GT3 or 4 like I said earlier!

Forza 2 then. Even that looks better than GT5's in game footage.

Plans for the A3 sound good, although a touch of lowering wouldn't go amiss, especially with spacing the wheels out like you plan.
