As said its probaly orange's shitty software thats f**king it up. Sometimes providers will let you swap handsets to a similar value if the current one keeps messing up. Worth asking if there's something else you'd like.

Have a look on toms hardware, they did some bumming around with it. Wouldn't have thought it would be worth the extra difference to 3.2 but if you can clock it to 3.5 maybe.
