Just as an update - the car has been recovered in Leeds with 2 guys in custody. That's all that's known but at least it's been found, result!

That's a shame mate - all that hard work fixing it up over winter to sell for a daily diesel! Would have loved to see this at a couple of meets/shows - hope you make some sort of profit...?

@andybond I've shared this in the RS 197/200 club page too, we had a dyno day at RS in January in which 20+ cars showed up. If anyones up for it I'll send you a PM!

Well...the higher your excess is should lower your insurance premium somewhat, downside being you pay more if you crash. So, don't crash. I think I risked ridiculous excess when I started driving for cheaper insurance!
