buzzing usually is plastic closing panels in the wind vibrating. are theyre any on the clio where the rear bumper meets the rear quarters? or underneath where the wheel well is?
if it has aircon, im assuming you have the compressor unplugged.. is there a feed on the wire requesting it to kick in, as this will advance the ecu a little and fueling under normal operation, it should rev erratically though.
DTC scan i think
I dont know why people rave about NGK. I've seen more problems with NGK plugs than any others.. who remembers the old cav 1.6 that would work on anything but Bosch or (oem GM/Bosch) plugs. Bosch plugs are good, but they must be the correct ones, resisted. interesting.. if you can source OEM...
i've kinda lost track with all the posts.. im assuming the ecu is sirius34, in which case the immo from the Key>UCH>ECU is on the CANH-L wires (multiplex) and a solid red light on the dash is a UCH lock out flag, either the ECU isnt talking back to the UCH, or the ECU is reporting a critical...
Did you get a solid red light on middle of dash? did Engine/Starter try to crank at all?
Has it been serviced recently or messed with at all? What car and engine is it? and year? :-)
..yes, this is correct, also the anti-tamper cage on the ecu rattles around and wears into the a. the left plug wiring loom rubbing away the insulation and creating a short, and b. into the die-cast of the ecu casing, eventually allowing water ingress at the top!! Beware if this is the case, if...
I dont think you can guess at it, oil, plugs, air filter all effect emissions as does o2 sensors, air flow sensors.. blah blah, the list goes on. Really needs a diag! (preferrably on CLIP, as snapon, launch etc really dont do well on Renault cars)
If its a 1.6 16v with a siemens ecu, make sure...
Hi Mick, i think my point still stands.. replacing the relay wont fix the problem, isnt causing the problem, and as such your presumption on what BBA reman do, wasnt correct at all. You can also reprogram a UCH in with Clip if you put a factory file in the 93c66, so not actually 'One Time...
I recently had a 2001 ph2 clio with this fault, right hand indicator flashing all the time and the wipers would run then they felt like it.. What i find interesting is, when you look around the net, theyre is plenty of information about what is and isnt and can and cant be done.. it seems to...
