I get loads of noice from sunroof and seatbelt pillar, then when I fixed them I now get strange whistling noises and loud wind noises when I go over 50mph
Quite a few people, (I dont) but would be interesting to find members with a standard valver, willy, 172, 182 and 172cup take them to pod and compare the times. Then see which is fastest round a track.
Im thinking of swapping my standard seats from my 2000 clio grande with the black dynamique ones or the 172 seats. Problem Ive got is will my car have the connections for the side airbags and will they fit in a 5 door OK?? Anyone done this before?
Was looking into buying first proper car and did search for clio, FIrst i found some other clio site, think it was http://www.cliosport.nuwww.cliosport.nu and followed link to here and have been hooked since.
Weve had NO problems from our clios either and have done 58k miles in one of them but they are not high perfomance sports! The problem is the 172s, 182s and V6s are made in a different renault sport factory by monkeys and they have a lot of different components from the rest of the clio range...
Cant you find one you like, take it for a test drive, test EVERYTHING works from reverse gear to the boot light, then buy it if your satisfied if not find another, and remeber you have always got a warranty to fall back on.
Yeh they are for some reason, maybe because they are the new clio with the least amount of kit? When I was learning to drive I crashed ours into kirbs, a ditch, reversed off kirbs, knocked the mirrors, the thing just bounced back and the parts that fell of just slotted back into place. Been...

Yep, I prefer Mk1 172s (but prefer mk2 V6s), the mk1 172s r slightly faster and you get more feedback from the steering wheel aswel.

My mum brought her clio and my dad got his van both new from renault leicester recently and have been very happy with service and price, they even gave my mum a descent px with her escort. redhall are ok but when they MOTd my clio they didnt check the seatbelts and lights as i know for a fact...
Ceder motors are only good for getting spairs but u usually have to wait a day to get them as they dont keep many ther. Reno leicester seem good enough and willing to do good deals. I got my car from the reno redhall garage in between coalville and loughborough, they are muppets as didnt fix my...
Ford rattle but the difference is you cant find where its coming from not sure about citroen and pug. Think reno can fix the sunroofs they channge the handles on them to a better design i think, they charge you for it obviously.
