Let it dwell for a while mate and see how you get on. Some T&G can take longer than others. It could be from anywhere mate. Neighbour painting something in a breeze etc. body shop. All sorts. Hope the glue remover sorts it anyway :)

if you've tried some half decent T&G and its not moving then that would suggest its not Tar. Little tip, and sorry if im preaching to the choir here, is to let the T&G dwell a little while. Use a peice of kitchen towel, soak it and leave it on the panel for a minute or two to really let it work...
