Correct but not around town, especially if you belt it... if you have a heavy right foot 40mpg is never gonna happen.
My MK4 golf GTI gets 42mpg when driving sensibly, not sure on my clio as just got it...
What I mean is, it is not at the top of the list when buying a 182 or many hot hatches...
Haha Get a diesel...
I drove back from Margate to Billericay, about 80 miles and cost around £15... seems about right.
Cliosports aren't sold on economy.
Hi mate,
I'm no expert with the privisional and younger driver insurance but I would assume that insurance companies would not see the provisional driving as actual driving experience and that would lead me to think that your son would not gain no claims bonus. He is being 100% assisted in...
I was wondering as I was cleaning the inside of my car, is there a place that sells a sort of centre console where the handrake and gear stick is?
It looks like there is a gap that needs filling on my 172, maybe like a bespoke storage area that has been designed?
If there has been a thread...
So I walked in from work to find my welcome pack...great, went to put th clio sport sticker on my window and managed to mess it up.
Can you re - order one or is it a case of they assume there is not anybody that will fail to put a sticker on a window? :slap:
Gave her a good clean last night, didnt't manage to do the inside or the windows as it got dark :( will get that done last night.
Shampoo, jet wash, pre wax, then a coat of auto glym.
Happy with the out come, going to start doing a few bits to it shortly.
I picked it up from down south...
After a little advice,
After doing a bit of research on the forum, google etc. I came across a lot of old information about the steering wheel thumb grips on a phase 2 172, obviously these wear quite quickly...
The only replacements I could find were carbon fiber ones priced at £99.99...
Morning all,
Just got my new Clio 172, really chuffed with her, 85k on the clock, full MOT and service history.
Belt etc done in 2011.
Only got the one photo just now but when I get it all cleaned up I will upload some more, really happy with it :D
I am looking for people's opinions here,
I have been looking for a clio 172 and have come across a couple that I like,
1st option is a flamer phase 2 which is trade, it is up for 1500 and is completely standard, which I intend to change very soon
It has 80k miles on the clock and is really...
Sell it...
To get what you want is going to cost you an unbelievable amount of dead money, what happens when it comes to wanting an upgrade and you struggle to sell it again?
Just my opinion
That's it mate, I have a mk4 Golf GTI 1.8T that I need gone and that will increase the budget which obviously will increase the options :D
Simple...right? haha
Thanks,
I have, sent a couple of PM's as well.
I will try and be patient but its not one of my better skills!
The one I was on the verge of getting was mapped, coilovers (probably not the best for the country roads I live on), Turini 15's, carbon fibre splitter and a De cat (although I...
I wanted to be sitting here right about now as a proud new owner of a 172, however an hour before I was about to leave for to pick it up, I got a text saying 'not for sale anymore'
Anyway, after a bit of time wasting with that one, I am on the hunt for a 172 again! Ideally do not want to travel...
