I think the coupe and saloon are the same.
However I would suggest buying a brand new Fabia splitter which I will provide you the following link to buy and be done with it all:

If this is too...
:openmouth: blimey !
Yeah TBH it's only the PH1's I have seen with sill rust so far, and a fair few with bonnet corners bubbling and the filler neck area etc. All in all, hardly anything dramatic for the age of these cars now.
Started becoming common on the old 5 GT Turbo gearboxes, so it's only a matter of time before all the Clio's catch up with them :)
Much like the rust issues that are creeping up on these Clio's now !
Easy
But what problems is the car having?
The main issue will be finding a set of instruments with matching mileage... You would have to search for some with slightly higher miles, drive your car until it matches, then do the swap. Not impossible, and keeps things legit.
Car's looking well for itself Steve
RE: The gearbox - Draining it, removing and cleaning up the end cover lip on a machine or similar and a decent re-seal would sort it, however by looking at your work so far I can see you just buying the cover brand new, ha
Either way, it's just wear...
See above
Lol or what he said
Was shocked I missed the thread as it was around the time I was active on the forum quite a bit. Found it through Google images of the white 2118 fitted and followed the link. Should of stayed on the 2118's and some mental ITB set up and sold it to me...
:) Thanks @Daz. - It's all down to the pictures I think, different lighting etc, but in the flesh they really work against the white as long as they are kept clean.
Don't get me wrong, still loved the anthracite, but me and the wife's 5 previous Renault Sport's had anthracite or if they didn't...
:up::smile:
Ha... ! Thanks @James172C it actually sat around looking filthy and unloved for a long time whilst I was (and still am) having some major building works going on. It's tucked away out of sight now though, and all my neighbours think I'm 'fixing it' all the time so would never be...
Brilliant! Nice to see you have another 172 also... you soon get stuck into the work on it, what colour is the body going? Any ideas?
Be interested to see the inlet results when it's all done... and videos !
Ha.. ! Thanks mate, I'll get them on when it warms up a bit
Thanks @James172C yes I still have the Cup but it's hasn't been driven anywhere, also ran out of MOT so it's been taken off the road while I get some jobs sorted on it.
However the past 12 months have been busier than ever.. ...
Great to see some more decent photos of it now with the new touch's Chris.
Your own mark on the car is certainly shining bright now, looks fantastic don't change it, just some of those centre caps and maybe an engine bay clean up if it needs it :)
Holy thread revival lol 😂
The Turini's are ET 38.5 which is what the 172 Cup's come with as standard but obviously mine is running spacers all round and 195/40 profile tyres.
Chris
Nice way to jump back into Clio ownership again, just sorry to hear the track day was cancelled  hopefully they will give you another date to focus on and in that time both get the car ready for it etc.
Everything you need to know and more is on here... !
