    Indentify this mystery car.

My first thoughts, but it wasn't. Harv, lights look about right... Sounded immense.

    Indentify this mystery car.

Saw this coming back through London last night. Have absolutely no idea what it was, couldn't get close enough for a decent photo either, sadly. Any ideas?!

Deinitely won't strip it, pal. Had C2V3 on for a few months, with monthly RDS spray downs (undiluted) and then jet washed. Beading as tight as when I first applied it.

Yep. Jay, yes RDS is wax safe, but now depends on how cheap you can get it. It's only worth it when it's £3 as it works the same as AF Citrus Power 1:1 diluted with water, which is £10 per litre undiluted, so £5 when the same power as RDS (RDS is £6).

    DA vs. Rotary ?

EFA. DAS-6 Pro for a DA, or get the EP801 that Kev (Gallistrosity) raves about.

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

New EZ Detail brush, 1l IronX and a Scholl spot pad for the brief AF Tripple detail over the weekend. Came to a couple of quid over £40, but rounded down by Phil from Shinearama. Ta!

Agreed, looks superb buddy! However, keep an eye on that Eraser. Looks to be particles in it that will mark freshly polished paint. Could just be dust on the bottle, but Jim White had a nightmare recently having fully corrected a Monaro!!

    collinite opinions?

Gold tin is 476. Lasts forever, but my God don't over apply it or you'll never get it off. It mutes the flake pop in metallics and dulls the finish of most other colours. It's great, however, for unseen painted or metal parts (suspension, engine bay, door shuts etc) but that's as far as I'd use...

Well I'll get the ball rolling. Recently used AF Tripple, AF Citrus Power, AF Mercury on the R8; I have better quality if/when required. Not sure what this one is, pixels wise. edit - comment from Dad after I'd finished; "It looks better with Tripple than it did after a full correction!". I...

    Auto Glym - Opinions?

Actually, I'll admit to that. The Engine and Machine cleaner is a good, ph neutral APC for wheels/engine bay/shuts etc if you haven't got anything else to hand or run out and need to pop to a shop (Halfrauds).

Tbh I srp'd the windows of my Clio back in 2004 and it was actually quite good. Didn't last longer than a couple of months, but thought that was impressive at the time. G5 has been on the side windows since dec and still going strong. Front and rear screens I can't comment as had them replaced...

Very ineffective, again in comparison to other alternatives (tardis, tar-x, obliTARate).

Wax is fine for a budget wax.

    Auto Glym - Opinions?

As was my reply in the angry mans thread (now deleted), AG products are fine. They're budget, mass market, Jo public products. This means there are better products, which cost more. Much like Renaults and Audis and Ferraris.
