you will need the interior out with out a doubt the only way of tracing things. it will be a blocked drain in the middle of the scuttle panel, but the seal on the heat duct may be perished and is now leaking this will need resealing really

you can buy 10mm or 12mm hole ones i use first line ones no probs

while you lot moan about being able to do it yourself, most cars that can be done with computer tell you in the handbook how to do it

no mark 2 clio had a serv light for a service on its own means low oil i think or warning for another light on
