Stretchy stretchy handbrake cables anyone?
Can't say I even find it a little bit amusing tbh? Needed to be driven around the streets in 1st gear with 1.2 suspension, revving at zebra crossings, and maybe understeering into police car or something.
Correct - The hose behind the inlet with the breather fitted should be into the induction hose with an L shaped pipe connector, however perhaps the previous owner lost it or damaged it. I'm sure KTEC would send you another or get yourself one and do some measurements etc.
The small vac pipe on...
Most selectors leak around that area tbh.
Use some brake cleaner and clean it all up, see if you can see the problem areas, but I wouldn't get too concerned if your only losing a small mist every so often.
The Renault diagram for the drain plug etc is probably on another image with the linkage...
From what I remember, I was the only one who said this on the last thread, also where you said don't bother?
Why not bother, for the pennies it costs and risking a potential leak and the hassle of it all to sort it out if it does.
Probably cost more than 30p of electric to write that post?
And mine... but only since my wiper arm got stuck whilst cleaning the car, then snapped when putting it back down.
I tried a new non genuine arm, then another genuine one, genuine blade, then changed the motor itself and it still does it...
Heres an old picture of mine at its worst during the...
I got them from ECP, both sides were different makes, and only one had the pad holder and they said it was a mistake and shouldn't of had them at all.
I went to GSF and had no hassle as they came complete
As above, may of been removed while the motor was mid sweep, or the motors duff.
Either way, its damaging your paint work on the boot, and I also have a spare PH2 motor if you need it :)
Good plan and work so far pal but I would recommend removing the filler car for the sake of two nuts?
It'll probably need them cutting off but easily re-assembled with some stainless fittings?
its more of the price that keeps people happy as Renault ones for the Cup were £250... EACH! In the same category as the Cup bumper splitter.
Discontinued is sad news though...
Maybe best to get someone decent to refurbish your Renault ones
If an OE one doesnt fit, I'd just leave it without mate.
How come the cut outs so large anyway?
Also take a look at the PMS exhaust on the for sale section, he's used a rubber surround of some sort and looks good.
KTR one is the same and repairable if it gets damaged. Seems a good price again now too!
I have the Skoda one and it does the job but I would much prefer the genuine Cup one on there... But with the price and delicate nature of them, mines going to stay here...
You can understand why I was so upset when I melted my brand new one on track when my backbox mount failed!
Pretty melted tbh... lol... but it would give you an idea if one would work... maybe
I would try a 182 surround mate, they are quite flexible and can accommodate a larger size / uneven cut out from ones I've seen.
I have a spare melted one you can try lol
Always better to have the front a little lower than the back IMO
But not so much that the wishbones are facing the sky!
Maybe 40-50mm gap between the tyre and wheel arch on the front, and the rear a little higher. This all depends of course what wheel / tyre combo you have of course
