    G Techniq I1 - what did I do wrong?

Interesting as I've recently had the same after using four bottles on my sofa. Emailed Rob from Gt about it. Not got a resolution yet... Email him. Think there might be a batch issue as this is very unlike GT products.

I use half a bottle of CP. used more RDS this time around as it was raining and wanted to ensure the stuff worked before buying more. Next test will be 1:1 with water and in drier, dirtier conditions.

    Buying Da

Agree on buying separately. Buy 3M pads and 3M polishes in my eyes, although the Menz polishes are my go to with 3M pads. You will need; Blue spot pad Blue standard pad Yellow spot pad Yellow standard pad Spot pad backing plate The DAS6 will come with the rest.

Must be a way of showing how much it is in other stores and them honouring that amount? Can't have one set of customers paying more than double the cost in one area, compared to another?! Worth asking when you go in, Ant. If you want a receipt photo/offer photo etc I'll send it over as proof.

Fully clean? As in had dark spots on the corners? Sounds more like ingrained brake dust. Try spraying some IronX on your wheels. If it turns purple and the areas left by AS SW are cleaned, it was iron deposits. Something AS SW is not designed to tackle.

Ant, was meant to be seeing Rob on Saturday but had to cancel. Same offer goes for you if you can't find any. Can whizz it over when I meet up with Rob.

Something's going wrong here. Bilberry and ASSmart Wheels are good products. When you say they don't work...? Elaborate?

I'll read that in a bit Matthew, but mean while... IT WORKS!! Just popped out, 10 mins at the jet wash with the tesco wonder wheels and asda demon shine rapid dirt shifter. Both work well for my needs, but DSRDS is AF CP at a quarter of the cost. Good thing I bought a load. Lol. You certainly...

If it is, £2.25 in local ASDA. If it isn't, I guess it's only £20.

    Exo V2

Needs drying in fella. Which means rubbing paint. Bad idea if the car has been "washed" with just a spray down. It's not clean enough for a QD surely?

    Exo V2

Don't forget a qd like reload and c2v3 needs a clean car. Hence I don't use them currently. If you're taking my advice from the last thread, cquk protection then a touch less wash with cp pre spray and jet wash. The car will not be clean enough for a qd however. Use the qd when you can wash it...

This section does redeem itself sometimes with the likes of Magic, Chris, Jim and especially Russ. Another reason I'd not hesitate in letting Russ be one of very few pros to touch my car. Oh er.

AF Mercury. Best one I've used. Gets most crud off with just a microfibre application, but can be stepped up to 00 gauge wire wool if necessary.
