Agreed. APC is too harsh in my eyes. The Alacantra may also not be colour fast when treated with such a chemical.
A soft brush and a specific Alacantra cleaner is best.

Looks good. If I may add to the process, tar and iron removers will make your claying sessions a hell of a lot easier. Not to mention safer.
