Most of the time it's the bolts Paul. Happened with mine.
Take the inlet off and have a look at which ones have a bit of oil round them, take each one out and put some Loctite 5910 black sealant (halfords sell it) under the head and nip back down to 11/12Nm

It's the battery!
The alarm will go off as soon as you connect the battery, don't worry about that. You then need to shut the bonnet as it has the alarm sensor which thinks the bonnet is open.
When you've shut the bonnet, lock then unlock the car and it should be sorted.
