Hi all. Im going to change the bottom balljoint today, after a quick search on here it doesnt seem too hard. Just a quick question though, Do i need to jack both sides up? I read one thread and it said something about the driveshaft popping out if you dont jack both sides up.

The pipe coming from the back of the top inlet that goes into the bulkhead somewhere, can anyone tell me what it is and what it does? Its all squashed/melted and looks like it needs replaced. Thanks
