Hi guys, im after a set of new tyres to be used on road and track mixed. best advice? ive had the nankangs and ad08s before, are there any others worth trying? also, best places to get them online? cheers

Lol.. yeah ill just leave it where it is. Haven't paid anything for it. Told hem earlier I didn't want it after he said about the belts and rear brakes needing done. Looking at a minimum of 600 spent on it so I'd rather just buy a good one for 2k!

Yeah it was on ebay. I won it. The advert was very vague and they didn't reply to my emails when I asked about the belts and history etc, turns out the belts haven't been done since 08 and there's no service history since then. Not sure why they don't take 10 seconds to stick that in an advert!

Anyone know it? Has some sort of aftermarket headlights and rear tints, painted turinis too.

Forgot I got a fair few comments about it at a couple of shows I took it to. Received alot of attention due to being a clio with a big fancy looking engine!

Well not really, any car that's got really low milage/owners and is mint will be worth a bit more in a load of years I suppose. Wasn't there an old volvo posted on here this year that had like delivery milage or something?

I just don't see what's so great about it... its a clio. Yeah maybe if it was still a 1 owner with 24k in 2030 but not now. As above, I'd rather a 1k cup with 4.5k to play with!

Whoever buys that will be the 2nd owner.. kind of takes the specialness away when they then sell it on. Plus, 24k isn't really that special imo.

I don't even have a car right now, never mind a clio! Haha. Late in the year for anything now but hopefully get some stuff sorted for next year. Possibly a karting meet at Lhanbryde seeing as it's kind of central... kind of! Sound good to you guys? Also if yous have any other suggestions...

I got alot of comments in the ITBd 172. People wondering wtf it was! Had a few in the red R26 due to the big fancy recaros in a renault megane.

As mentioned before, I'd probably just get good suspension and tyres, maybe an induction kit and exhaust for a bit more noise too. Not worth spending money on remaps etc really because the gains are hardly noticeable!
