Why would you need to buy another when you could just get your belts etc done for 6/800 quid? At least you would know pretty much everything about the car, all its niggles etc and you'd know its good for another few years! Just find it a bit odd.

If you plan on keeping the car then id get it done tbh, going to be a hassle when it does go bang and your sitting at the side of the motorway or something and have to get recovered then break/sell the car.. then get a new car :l
