Was off eBay, was only a few £ but I did have to cut it up to fit all the connections. Maybe a bigger one or change the ends of your cable to fit better. And there is a stud there already so you just need a nut and washer to get it mounted.
2016 update:
The car hasn't really done much since the last up date, maybe even hasn't turned a mile I'm sure... I've Been keeping it alive, once a week giving it a start a left running. Apart from that nothing new.
Thought I'd do a " To Do " list for the upcoming year. Not really planning...
I was thinking about doing that but don't like committing to events that early in the year. Good thing with a Hot Hatch, you can still book the day before sometimes.
If your booked with trackscotland it'll be a open pit lane I'm sure.
Hot hatch days are better than what they used to be, MOST of the nutters have gave up or died off. I quite enjoy them. They group you by power, and road or track condition. So it's more even than just getting chased by evos...
Bonnet had been sprayed and fitted. And as a spray job it's absolute spot on. The front bumper and bonnet, you can see a slite difference, fresh to old, but if anything the bumper is getting it next if anything was needing sprayed.
Fitment wise, I'd say I'm 90% happy with the fit, best way to...
Winter update:
Car is currently sitting in the body shop awaiting spray and fitting of its new bonnet. PMS lightweight number. Bought from @Damo-172cup on here
Only real pic I have is when I got it...
Plus a set of aero catches to match!
Decided I'm going to get the bonnet done...

Few guys up this was used them for power runs at the time and all came out with similar realistic runs. (In the 170bhp area).
To make 175bhp on a 182FF I had done, home made induction kit, ported inlet manifold and throttle body, full stainless and the rest engine wise standard.
All they mods, guessing, gave me 5bhp if anything.
Then after mapping it made 188bhp
The right exhaust is the main one, it does the same on the left but not as much, I think it's more the picture over exaggerating as it was cold a foggy when running it.
Good spotting mate :smile::up:
So with the above done I inherited a set of ph1 rear lights. And trail fitted to see what I prefer,
What do you's think???
If I don't use them I think I'll just sell them on
Off on a Monday! What better to do than make a start on fitting new coolant hoses.
Before...
During....
And finished result...
Let it run up to temp, heaters on etc and took just over 5ltrs to get it refilled.
So then thought I'd get my cigarette lighter refitted, mounted...
It says it's hammered affect, I'd say more marble in parts 😂. I did rush it so talking your time would make it a better finish, think I'll go over it and just use up the tin on certain parts.
