Ph2 is large squarish thing, ph1 is a cylinder with two inlets. CHeap as chips to buy, always up for sale. Much better than a K&N LOL

depends, some will state whether you get a resistor or not (airbag or non-airbag basically). wheel bosses are generally all the same, however with an OMP one you know you are getting a decent quality product. They aren't cheap though, hence why I prefer to buy second hand.

ebay is fine, as most are from reputable shops. Either that or get a used one from someone on here.

That's all work you could do yourself. Maybe get some supervision or advice before tackling the brakes, as you don't want to get that wrong. Wheel balancing shouldn't cost much £5 each, max.

Absolutely awesome 20 minute session even though I nearly had my arse blown off by that battery. Absolutely insane grip in the corners on these slicks. Even though it's a treck half way across the country Cadwell Park is a supreme track. Whoever took some of them photos is a pro.
