I remember me and my neighbour were cleaning our cars and he was doing his bay so i done mine, he said to hose it down and i said no, that cant be good. He said that he had done it to every car he had and 'it will be fine'.
No surprise the car wouldnt start after!!
I usually use some GUNK and...
Its not the fact its life changing, its the price of it.
Imo its all i need to get my wheels nice and clean, seeing as ive got no protection on my alloys, this makes life easier.

Is it purley because he used heat and caused the damage himself? Or would removing the tar make the roof skin very thin?
(Ive never seen under the roof liner so i dont know how big it is etc)
Good shout with the normal sabelt but its still expensive.
Quick question here now..
In the phase 1 is a ph2 dash and steering wheel etc. And in the ph2 ive got my boss and wheel, is it hard to change the squib and whatever else i need over from the ph2 into the ph1?
Maybe a silly question but are the boss kits for the ph1 and ph2 different?
Looking on ebay they are listed as 98-05 but my brother had one which wouldnt fit his 182? Figured it must of been out of a ph1
If they are the same then ill just keep my corsica!
Ah, just found a corsica on ebay for 75 rather than the 140 demontweeks want.

I like the look of the sabelt but i think i would miss the dish tbh!
Hi all..
Ive currently got an OMP wheel which i like, but im getting a phase 1 at the weekend and ill be looking for a new wheel.
I find the OMP wheel a bit big at the moment but i like the dish.
What do you lot suggest?
Ahright, aye it must be me, i had the fronts pretty warm once but the rears didnt get very warm so obviously the grip wasnt THAT great.
Are the 48s full on track tyres are they?
Applecross at the weekend?
Not read your whole thread but see on track, do the yokos warm up well? And is the grip alot better when they are properly hot on track?
Mine dont really seem to get that warm on the back roads, but maybe im not going fast enough :p
