i just lowered my car again is was -40mm now its -60mm , i now have a case of the wobbles even at low speeds (30mph) its quite twitchy as well now. is it just a case of alignment or do i need camber adjustments? never had any wobble on the other springs untill reaching about a ton on the m1...

is the unlocking mechanism at the top of the chair different on a mk1 172 to a 172 mk2? reason being i have just got a 172 interior for my dynamique but its from a mk1 clio 172 and mines a 2003 1.6 so the fitting will be different for the unlocking control. any help would be great.

i waxed my car the other day and it looked spot on, the weather has been good so its still clean but covered in dust form the carpark and road. it seems to stick to the car with static. i have an ani static cloth and duster thing but worried that brushing the dust may may scratch paint. any ideas?

on the rear of my 2003 1.6? it says that if you have the 60mm springs (p.i) it is recommended that you use shortened shocks. so that means i dont have to, but what difference will it make/ with or without? how many peeps have got these springs and not changed the shocks.

is it any good, im lazy and just aint got round to joining anyway is it detailed, my mate (paid) said hed do the fronts for me but i need to save some cash so was gonna do the rear myself. 1.6 dynamique by the way:)

loads and loads all 52 reg and less tan 15k, whereas u cant find a second hand 1.6 dynamique anywhere. (not looking for either just bored ) surely it should be the other way round, either way ive seen two cups for less than 8500 on a 52 plate bargain!!

and not impressed at all, thought it would be good idea to insure the alloys on the car, so just said that i had replaced them due to theft of the originals. anyway they (direct line) told me that i cannot modify the car in anyway even though the car comes with alloys anyway (15") so therefore...

a friend of mine at uni is having his 172 cup chipped and some other bits done, what sort of bhp will he get from it. he told me it would be over 200 bhp but i didnt beliveve him, am i wrong??:confused:

is there really a noticeable difference in the quality of springs availible, would you notice the difference between say -60mm p.i and -60mm k-tec ones. many 172 owners have eibach but they dont do -60mm for clio 2 any help guys this pic is -30mm, too big a gap for me...

has anyone else had bad problems with the dash creaking about, its happened since day one with mine. (2003 1.6 dynamique) any ideas on the best thing to do - i.e shall i take the dash off?? how much would renault charge to sort this out

can i use this in direct sun and on warm paintwork?? why doesnt it say this on the container?? i know some polishes u cant use in the sun but his doesnt say either way. opinions please.. why is the sun out on the day i want to do this?

how come know one ever compares these two cars, is the Gti 180 crap or what then? my mate has a Gti and might be getting a 180.

ive been lazy and using the car wash, now i have noticed small scratches to the paintwork.(mainly in direct sunlight) i have pearlesent black car so it seems to show up real bad. Do i just need to give it a t-cut colour fast once over? or is there some better stuff on the market??

on 17s the back looks crap compared to the front, the view through the allys to the disks looks so much better. is it poss to change the back to disks, ive got a 52 1.6 dynamique if anyone is clued up on this.

mine have been on a week and the front defo looks lower but the back im not sure about looks like its only moved 20mm, no-one has sat in back yet so theres been no weight on them is that why?? 35mm p.i springs by the way

ive got continental on the 172 rims at the mo and thinks they are average, but will be putting the old kahns on my car when i get them back from a refurb place, they have falkens on but need replacing soon. the size is 205/40/17, , but what does everyone reckon for under 60 notes, heard that...

some 205/40/17s , not bothered about the make really or even some part worns will do.

does any one know of some decent places that do this a a good price, lookin @ £50 a wheel everywhere ive tried. :o
