well only reason i noticed is that a mechanic mate of mine was changing my driveshaft and said it didnt look standard lol
must be pretty good as standard then as it does look aftermarket.
theres mine from Cadwell. Has a Green air filter/induction kit and a K-tec stealth backbox.

i use T1R's. for the money they are a decent tyre, they seem to get slated on here for some reason. Everyone is bumming them hankooks. i have heard they are soft and probably wont last long but i never keep a car long enough to find out tbh.
Im currently doing an eco run on this tank as im skint until the 25th. Ive had a mixture of A & B roads and town driving and im currently getting 38mpg. Bear in mind thats going very steady and changing <3000RPM and hardly changing gear.
at a constant 65mph on the motorway i got 43mpg.
if im...
i have standard 172 brakes with mintex pads... they arnt amazing by any stretch but they are adequate. Mine do bite pretty well initially. They were a LOT better when i changed the brake fluid though, before this they were either on or off but now you can feel a lot better.
im needing the net too. just moved into a new house and ive been waiting 5 weeks for sky to sort mine out after ordering it with the tv stuff and they are frigging useless. thinking of trying someone else but i dont know who is any good tbh.
nice sleepers these. They are very rare, sure there is only a few hundred made/in the country or something. id have one.
cant speak for these but the lower spec more common one, the NASP one are supposed to be fairly quick but handle like a boat. they are about 180bhp ish i think.
no doubt be...
Well, seeing as i couldnt see my rear number plate anymore i had to wash it as it was annoying the hell out of me. Was only a quick once over really, id washed and waxed it about 2 weeks previously with Dodo Juice so it came out pretty well regardless.
Cleaned out the interior too, doesnt half...
i washed mine about 10 days ago but since then its been on track, now covered in brake dust and other assorted layers of goop. Love the british weather!
i think they are rediculously cheap to run considering the performance.
i achieved 43mpg on the motorway the other day and that was without even trying. just sitting at 65-70mph constant. Ive had less than that out of a DERV before lol
lol you're and engineer, you're stripping the car down and working on it... and you dont know that its not acceptable to rev the tits of a cold car? dear god, no wonder there are so many 2nd hand heaps about.
daily driving to work and back, town and back etc... mixed driving with some steady driving and sometimes giving it the beans ill get 30.5mpg
on the motorway i get 42mpg
trackday driving i get 17mpg
mine is on APEX and the ride is brutal imo, dont know wether the aftermarket shocks will make a difference with that though.
hit a bit of a rut and its goobye spine and teeth. Its only saving grace is that it sits nice...

lol this is the only forum ive ever been on that has slated T1R's.
imo they are a good tyre, not exactly budget. 172 doesnt have enough grunt to trouble them anyway, i had them on my 200bhp turbo EG civic before this one and they coped well enough.
