defo sounds like a loose connection, take it out and check the plugs are secure, if that doesnt work you may need to resolder the plug connections, thats my best guess
depends largely on the garage and if the job goes smoothly, best bet is to call around and compare a few quotes, but as a guesstimate 80-150 quid, its not a difficult job so if you know someone you could get it done for 50 buck
also not to be a **** but there are threads on this if you do a...
if its a garage garage your going to and not just a tyre fitters then i imagine they will be fine with that
also for an extra special finish, follow as above, then once its properly dry (maybe more than an hour) lacquer them, you can also put a sticker of some sort under the lacquer if you want...
no they wont be but thats the idea with silver or black, because of the alloys youl see more of them and if they aint painted they will likely look ugly, but silver or black and no one would ever notice because there wouldnt be a bad bit if you get me,
but for show go bright red or yella
rural track + lowering = not too clever i reckon lol, 30-40mm is noticable without being too low, coilovers are better especially as they are adjustable so you can set your own ride height, more expensive too though and prob wasted on a 1.2
im not sure rowan, im struggling with your descript of which bulb is which tbh lol,
if its just one bulb not working then replace it as a starting point as its cheap and easy, after that (or before if you prefer, either way) check the fuses, its easy done
at a guess it could just be a couple of fuses, i dont know how the wiring on a clio goes but on some cars its a fuse for 2 sidelights, and they can be crossed as in front passenger rear drivers, and then maybe one for the dash, and posssibly just a bulb for the headlight, but its all guess work...
lights sounds like a fuse to me, my temp gauge has done similar and is now stuck around 59C, i thought it had maybe been knocked against the radiator but iv just read on here that its in the passenger mirror, so im assuming it needs replaced but im gonna have a butchers first, maybe its covered...
huh thats weird? i would have guessed clutch smoke or similar if it was coming out the bonnet too, either that or the heating fan but presumably that would do it hot or cold, i havent actually helped much huh, wild guesses lol
easy bud, inside the boot directly behind the light is a black 'nob' turn it anti clockwise and it will screw off, then you take the whole light unit off by gently pulling it towards you (from the outside), then youl see the bulbs, to get them there is a clip top and bottom that you squeeze...
ah no silicone wouldnt survive it, stating the obvious maybe but have you tried exhaust jointing paste? that should work as i dont think that join needs a gasket, if its fucked and your talking repair then welding is the only thing that would last, could be a good time to get rid of the bottle...
wow that is random, you thinking of getting rid of the heat shield?
i cant answer this specifically but since no one else has tried - couple of cars back i had a leon cupra r with a race diagnostics tool in it which gave loads of info including the exhaust temperature (i think just before the...
no i dont think they look rubbish? you hardly see them, get the dual type its just one thin black wire thing each side of the rear window.
dont know how you would tap into it although i presume theres an easy way, but you could just run a new wire for it straight to the stereo.
personally id...
uniroyal rain experts are pretty good, personally i use uniroyal rainsport 2's in summer and winter tyres on crappy alloys in winter, last 3-4 seasons that way, well worth it!
my mate is on the rainexperts just now though and they seem to cope ok with snow, but you cant beat dedicated winter...
