I have a customers ph1, its a bit rotten but Im doing lots of work on it to get it mechanically sorted.
He can then sort out the bodywork which if you go to the right places will not be dear.
end of the day if you sort the rotten one it will last, its genuine and it will hold its value as...
ben thats all very well in the box, but the diff doesnt have that problem. Its the sunwheels clip that pops. its a bevel gear, But yes theres not enough meat in the groove to retain it.
Also synchro cut gears, your getting worse man, its helicial cut gears!
heres an article I done on it...
I take it down the council dump and pour it away.
Sometimes I have to visit 3 or 4 dependign on how busy I have been. They try and say your trade pal when yo ugo down with gallons.
Ben I really am gonna have to kick your arse one day.
Aquawash 100+, Simon gets it for his business, if you google it you only get american links but you obviously get it in this country. Your meant to dilute it with water and make a big bath for stuff and it works but it takes longer, used...
just chris really as Ambers up the house and never looks on here, ask ben why I use that name now.
I got some stuff that is THE cleanign gear to have. Aquawash 100+, 75 litre drum, bright orange, says dilute heavily btu I use it straight its the easiest stuff I have used and doesnt stain...
yeah they have been relaxed but that doesnt mean you can do someone in.
TBH ists more up to the coppers that attend. I mind when a mate moved into a house and had no leccy (so no light), I was in the toilet doing a pee and someone smashed the window and stuck their hand in to open the window...
I thought if you hand over the keys the insurance will not pay up.
You have to put up a fight and if you die well thats tough from the insurers point of view.
using the AD4 box?
get yourself down the scrappy and get the flex plate etc from a 1.8/2litre auto laguna, box as well if you don;t have it.
PS that inlet manifolds dirty inside, your letting us down;)
lol you dont half talk crap. I have never heard of any take away paying any insurance rates for delivery boys.
go to any court in the land and you will no doubt see a few boy racers there about to lose their licenses for doing deliveries without taking out business cover.
lol ok, torque wies races whatever, why build 900bhp but 300ftlb cars then? Why not sod the power then just get the torque?
Twin entry turbos are not exactly new and i think we all know what they are for. Main benefits are they allow a larger A/R ratio and for it to remain driveable...
Well for a start a turbod 182bhp 2litre car will not be terribly good engine if thats what its extracting unless its only running 1PSi or so.
NA cars have a better power band feed than turbo cars. When you have mapped a few you will also agree.
Bottom line is response and delivery are better...
Elise everytime.
Far superior car for driving, also much better tuning scope and they can be used daily even in snow and ice etc, guy has a yellow one that drives by my flat everyday.
Also go for the K series elise not the toyota lump as its crap. The K series is the superior engine and yes...
the gauge inside the car. really... If you look at the handbook and indeed common sense shoudl tell you to ignore the gauge as its crap.
The lowest indent on the dipstick is the min mark and the next is the max mark. So if its going from max to min then its not that much to worry about if its...
by 3/4s do you mean 3/4s of whats in the sump or 3/4s of the min/max distance. If its the min/max distance then thats under a litre then thats tolerable.
If its the full sumps capacity then thats nearly 3/4 litres and its either leaking heavily or your being followed by a blue smoke trail...
really midge? Who would have thought...
This has nothing to do with the miracle of a blown headgasket oil/coolant, allowing by magical forces no less, to travel upwards into the plug well.
Which I am still waiting for an answer to, if this is really happening then its gonna be on the telly...
what I would liek to know is how can a blown headgasket cause this?
Is it a magical clio only feat that when a gasket below the plugs blows the oil/water magically travels by osmosis through the solid metal that is the head and ends up in the plug well? Or does it go out the side work against...
