Ermm no not really haha.....getting rid of the clips is but i ended up using a file to shave some of it to fit the Campus bumper. My friend helped me also. Still miss my old Campus tbh.
Just noticed your based in Glasgow - where abouts?
I had mine on coilovers (briefly). An RS grille is a good addition, think they are about £50.00 from Renault. It isnt too difficult to fit but needs a bit of adjusting to fit into the facelifted bumper. Maybe look at 182 seats? Can be picked up...
I'd keep it......I have a Megane dCi (not a company car right enough) but its used mainly for work and I still run my 172.
You, like me, probably don't need 2 cars but if you want 2 and can afford it, why not :)
This ^
My first car was a Campus. Exactly the same as a mk2 Clio, just with different bumpers and different levels of kit. Select the 98-06 option for parts and all should be fine - I never had any issues.
Mayo in the oil cap is nothing to worry about. My Campus was the same, and I did over 50,000 miles in 3 years no problem :) only car I miss.
Looks tidy mate
Finances aside, looks a great little car.
I'm half debating one for my next daily - how is the dCi 90 in terms of performance? My current Megane 3 door is the dCi 110 and I'm worried the Clio will feel slow in comparison.
Excellent write up John.
Looks like you had similar weather to us when going over the Bealach Na Ba to Applecross, worst fog ever.
Tempted to jump on a ferry later this year to the Outer Hebrides.
