toad alarms are very well respected, sometimes held in higher regard than clifford. I think with a car like an escort cossie, visual detterants are one of the best things to have, i.e a bright yellow disklok. could even have your own wheel clamp???
was going to put some in mine (sorry BRUN, perhaps i shouldve opted for the silkolene!) but after reading quite a few threads is the general concensus that this oil is crap??
All ive heard is that it makes the valvers engines rattly etc IS THERE ANYONE WHO DOES RATE IT??
ta,pete.
no offence taken mate. Im no expert so i glady hold up my hands and apologie for standing on my pedastol!! I like reading your posts mate cos i learn from them!
Its what cliosport was set up for!!
cheers, appreciated, pete.
i know you enjoy making people feel this small when it comes to technical knowledge!;) but correct me if im wrong, the oil pressure dial is showing the rate at which the oil is being pumped around the engine. the point you made above is exactly what im saying. the colder and thicker the oil the...
youve got to think that when your car is cold, the oil is thicker hence the pressure needed to pump it round the engine is greater. When the operating temp is up/high the oil is thinner and runs better, hence less pressure is required so theres no problem with that reading you mentioned.
erm, depends on how lose i suppose.

Upon removal of the old seats( imagine there not in there ) all that will be left of the pre tensioner system is the wire that comes through the carpet. Theres no way of utilising this system when fitting aftermarket seats.
I would just unplug it and fit in your new seats. If it was bothering...
oh and leave it to dry inside your house in a warm room! when i sprayed a few bits on my old RT i left the parts in the front room with the fire on very low. Dryed rock hard.
itsa bugger if the plastic trim gets any chips in it cos its looks messy and then to respray is even harder to do cos itll all need rubbing down again.
Looks good when done though.
cheers mate ive PMed you!
