Uploaded the new file tonight. After 10 mins of warm up driving, I gave it a little hoot. Power curve seems smoother, acceleration more responsive, increased torque between 2,500rpm and 5,000rpm and keeps pulling to the limiter.
Reset the the MPG counter, and on normal driving i'm getting...
Hey,
my friend has a 2004 clio 1.4 with 47,000 miles.
This brings it to 5 years old, and thus needing a cam belt change?
1. What is the average price for to change the belt? Renault quoted £300
2. Do the tensioners need changing aswel? Renault did not say if they do this in their quote...
Did you get an answer? I'm having same problem. Progged by 182, but unable to connect to a 1.2 to read faults. Says unrecognised VIN. So looks like it's locked, even to just read the ECU.
I don't know why you would want to do that, but fair play if you like it. It's your car.
The standard pipes should not come out the back that far, and i would have investigated why they were that far out in the 1st place.
(Rear end shunt and replacement exhaust not fitted correctly?)
I have the ITG panel filter fitted and noticed a significant difference in throttle response. Ths ITG gets good reviews, so for an extra £20 i would get an ITG.
I have the same problem, had it back twice and still can't get it like it was before having allignment done.
It's only slightly off to the left, so i have got used to it, but still like it sorting though.
What are your 1st impressions? It took about 500 miles for mine to settle down but i noticed a difference straight away.
If i were to do it again i would fill with V-Power and go for a nice 300 mile drive, motorways and A/B roads.
You need the 8200_7804 RON98 CB22 aug 2008 .cal, but as you have the 8100 ECU, you should upgrade it to 8200_7804.rst before you upload the 8200_7804.cal
Thats what i did anyway.
i've had mine fitted now.

I thought you were linking me to a review/comparison of a rstuner and custom map then. :boring:
I don't need the code, i was a mug and could not wait until Feb, so paid full price
The only people who are allowed to slate it are who have gone from a RSTuner setup to a custom rolling road jobbie, and i don't think there are any?!?
I can only comment on going from standard to rstuner and the difference is immediate. It will put a big smile on your face :D
