Yeah I've seen the k-tec one. I know it'll be good quality but seems quite pricey. I'd love to have a real one but I'd struggle with insurance cos I'm only 21! :dapprove:

When you say install some 6.5's - do ya mean up front in the door then put a spacer between the door and speaker to bring the magnet a bit further out? How big of a spacer would you use?

The infinity speakers will definitely sound better than the Pioneers you already have. Don't expect ear drum bursting sound but defnitely an improvement for the price. The best speakers to get are component sets but if you want real power you'll need to pay a lot for a set of these and ideally...

Why bin a power cap? I assume a power cap is the same as a capacitor? Like a 1 fahrad one? Surely they're a good idea as it must lower strain on the battery and a small amount on the alternator? And increase performance when the engine isn't switched on?

Does anyone know where would be a decent place to get a 182 style exhaust made up and fitted? When I say 182 style I'm refering to the twin center exit round pipes. K-tec have a kit gettin released soon but it's quite pricey! cheers. dan.

I replaced my original clio door speakers with Infinity 5002i 13cm two way speakers. They were a straight swop and the sound difference was amazing for such a simple task. And what's more, cos Infinity have a new series of speakers out I got these for 30 quid for the pair from Halfords! Bargain!

Yeah I think it looks nice, don't want anything over the top - just something to make it a bit different and cool. I agree the skirts look bad but anything on the side will look better than the standard nothing!!
