All this talk of Zymol and Menguiars, decided to check out prices here in the States... had to buy both in the interest of market research... Zymol $19.99 for 473ml and the Menguiars starter pack was also $19.99 - includes Cleaner Wax, Soft Wash Gel, Scratch-X, Quick Detailer and High Gloss tyre...

I gave up trying that grommet and drilled another hole right next to it! (no patience me!). I used some really good black sticky stuff I got from work and just gunged it all up around it...

You cant beat the good old fashioned traffic light style one... even better is the new vanilla flavad ones... and they fit on the indicator stalk a treat so you dont have to have em hanging from your mirror... IMHO of course!

I tried to get mine through the bonnet release cable grommet but failed so ended up drilling a hole in the bulkhead which is then sealed around the power cable with silicone, not pretty but works. Carpet covers it up and under the arch its hidden by the liner anyway. Hows it going all _KDF...

CB1A...? Mines an import from Jeffries Farm in Crawley and since day one the trip computer hasnt worked (it does trip mileage but none of the other fuel consumption calcs...). I know the button works cos when you hold it it whilst turning on the ignition the dash goes nuts doing its self test...

Ive gone and done it the wrong way then! Got power down passenger side and line-level cable down the drivers side. Not got any noise at all but I cant get the trim back on under the drivers sill... any ideas? :oops:

My 172s headlining vibrates... its well annoying..! Also when I first set off (either forward or reverse) theres a "farting" noise from under the dash...! I can only assume its the fan generating some kind of noise or something!
