To use warm water successfully on the windscreen the wipers must be switched on immediately after using or the water will just instantly freeze onto the window, You will all see what i mean if you try it on your car now....

Reliability wise the engine is very strong, 230bhp is about the max mark for standard internals, but the gearbox is the weakest link and will only last 10k miles running this sort of power, you can halve that if you gunna be drag racing

Flashing red light is cos the immo is not recognising the key, its maybe the key or the decoder ring in the ignition barrel. Try squeezing the button on the fob slightly when turning the engine over

Take it off and inspect, if you can push the piston in and out by hand very easily then its gone

You cant, far easier to replace the whole drive shaft. Drivers side shaft is sooooo easy to replace as it just slides out, just buy a second hand shaft from a breakers for £40

Try changing the decoder ring in the ignition barrel, any ring from a ph2 clio will be fine and u can get one from a scrappy for less than a tenner

It only flashes rapidly when its not recognised the key, this is usually a key fault or the decoder ring has stopped working
