guy i bought mine from sounded genuine, said cambelt had been done time and time again. took it to birchdown he were 99% sure it hadnt. so he could get lost when it came returning his private plate.

sounds like the UCH yeah. i had a similar problem with mine and had to get a new one, at a cost of around £460.

i dont know what companies can or cant do certain jobs, but with any car once ive taken it to a garage ill repeatedly take it to that one. bmw - went to bmw 106 gti - went to a local garage a few times 172 - went to birchdown a couple of times partly for this reason

im going along with chips thoeries at the moment too. whatever has happened, i hope the company that is responsible pay. and at least they are all well known companies which i imagine helps.

seem how much you think its value is. me personally i wouldnt spend more than 50% of its value on a service, that is crazy. id be looking to strip it, and that to the servicing money and buy a newer one. unless yours is perfectly immaculate and you dont want to part with it.
