I have had 2 eggs thrown at my car over the years. They do ALOT of paint damage and I have 2 marks exactly the same as in the picture above. I am not totally convinced its the impact of the egg or iff the egg actually eats the paint a bit :(

Thing is with grip round corners it really doesnt have mcuh to do with age. If your light with a wide ish track and wheels are in each corner they a car wieghing twice as much is going to have a problem to out handle you. Had a dabble with a 230bhp striped out R5 a little while ago and...

its gan-san driving the NSX probally if its the vid I think it is. Funny thing is people go on about hondas and how reliable they are but the NSX is probally the most unreliable car they use on best motoring, which this vid comes from. Over heat for a pass time.

astra gte(not gsi) 16v are quicker than a clio 16v. Probally not by much but with a driver of equal skill the astra will get away, well straight line at least :p From memory they are 155bhp/ton and 150lbft/ton so dont under estimate a good one :) A 172 isnt going to rape one thats for sure.

bleh thats nothing. When I was first on the road a good amount of years ago I ran a Lighlty tuned 2L pinto from a rs2000 in my Mk2 1.3gl escort and didnt change the insurance :oops: obviously dont condone this sort of action

XE power! Filter and zorst should see around 165bhp ish on a good example. I would imagine it would be very close between the 2...seems to be a touchy subject though ;) A astra GTE 16v is more or less 172 performance so not suprising how quick the corsa is when you chuck that engine in...

Clio doing very well there with stiff competition! Just shows that a light wieght,small car with wheels shoved in each corner is a great mix for a nice handling car :cool:

Simple: Buy an Evo 3 rs. 1190kg and 225bhp/tonne out the factory.Keep clio as track/fun car All the tranny is strong and will not need uprating. Not going to bore people again on how cheap the tunning bits are but as a pointer a full rebuilt engine from New Zealand which is good for 10...

Never had problems running Evo on either of these.In order of what I go for :) 1. Optimax 2. Esso super 3. Bp not so ultimate dont ever put normal unleaded in.

Alot of people like the in ya face stuff. Thing is they need to do some wieght reduction for it to be on par with the 182 or have a more powerfull engine circa 200bhp

I tried Kumhos on my last set on my Evo. For some reason it turned my car into a tail happy thing!

Theres a few differances. front seats better turbo(some argue(sp) the best turbo on any evo...) Tiny bit more power(about 10bhp) higher compression tho so cant run as high boost.. differant front bumber with front splitter etc carefull of evo 1-2 can have rusty roofs because of glue...

Focus rs are very quick from 60 onwards so it seems by book figures. you also have a pretty easy tunning option with the bluefin thing :) There sill pricey tho aint they? good choice of car round that price I reckon. scooby sti/Evo 6+ etc :) But must admit I like the look of the focus.
