ive had fast road pads in almost every car ive owned so its not a warming up issue. the pedal travel varies which is the frightening thing.
i remeber the brakes being the most memorable thing from the 172cup test drive so im pretty p1ssed off im not happy with mine. think ill take into...
yeah thats what i meant. best example i could think of....
fluid levels r fine. it feels like the pistons are returning to far so a longer press is required to bring them to the disk... never had a car do this before.
almost been cought out twice cos of it
hey people..
anyone out there with a 182 (or 172 for that matter) who find the brakes...odd?
the need to get them warm before they work properly in to be expected but the first few applications of brake pedal are almost useles.. theres just nothing there other than a rock hard pedal.

Had mine 6 weeks, 300miles and no trouble at all. slightly dodgy paintwork in places but mechanically sound so far.... watch the damn thing not start in the morning now i said that....
aye luckily she didnt hit me. 6th sense was working overtime i think!! lol... didnt dawn on me until a few minutes after how lucky i was. at first i thought it was funny. then i realised 10 seconds further down the road id of been in hospital...

this one way system is a couple of miles long. i havent a clue where she joined it cos theres no side roads off it!!
maybe she was german or french or something...
never mind though... haha
whack the optimax in anyway.. for the sake of £3 a tank id rather run it on what renault recomend. i think it runs alot better with it too (not any quicker though)
Just been out for a spin in me car when i came to one way system after a quality bit of dual carrageway i like blasting down....
slowing down for the red light something told me to get into the left hand lane, when all of a sudden.....
a woman in a bloody fiat cinqicento comes steaming round...
i think the renault 4 pots r the best sounding 4 cylender engines around.. the 1816v with an induction kit sounds awsome.. my 182 even though its standard sounds really throaty.. encourages u to drive like a loon though!
yeah when i do bike track days i always drop the pressures 2-3 front 4-4 rear..
i was under the impression you dropped them in car trackdays too. personally i would. only pump them up if its a wet day..
well i pi55ed all over a 2ltr nova round ours in my 182 with only 1000miles on. theyre quick tho.. as for the 2ltre corsa..if it weighs the same as a 172/182 how can it be quicker?? plus the shells r so flimsy the fall apart unless theyre seam welded....
silly boys....
the alarm is going nuts... it beeps afew times after locking the car and randomly goes off now and again... 2800miles and my first problem.. was going to well wasnt it?
