pahaha, that same car was at my work about 3 months ago, i just saw it and started laughing. WTF is the point? it's a 1.4 and you look an utter tw@t driving it. he came in asking if we had any K&N filters to fit it :/
i too am not sure about this clio but respect the time and effort put into it.
it could also be that. i don't know if you can get to it from under the rear seats but if you can, try having someone turning the ignition on and off whilst listening around the pump area for a whirring noise. if you can't hear anything i'd check the live to the pump and if there is none check...
hi, there's a possibility it could be a coil pack, crank sensor, snapped cambelt or jumped a tooth or loads of other things really, but the first few are probably the most likely to cause non starting
did you get them to code read the immobilizer system too? if you were to do any of the things above i would go for the crank sensor first. replacing the ECM relay/testing might be something to consider too. it could be the immobilizer stopping it if there is a fault.
hi, what was the problem that brought you to get the car code read? was the management light on? would it not start or struggle to start every now and then?
thanks
hi, the best thing to do would be to get it code-read.
i do know that there are 2 different type of reluctor rings though (1 has more teeth than the other), if i were you i would check the amount of teeth on the reluctor ring you have just fitted againt the one on the other side. this is enough...
it may sound silly but have you checked the fuses and relays? can you hear the relay clicking when trying to move the window up or down? if you find nothing wrong with these then i would next move onto the wiring
the ABS fault could be alot of things, it needs to be code read.
thanks
were these any body on here?

i'm all for elephant. i'm 18, have 1 years no claims, no points and to insure me on my 182 is £850 for 10 months before with my corsa 1.4 with no, no claims it was 600 for 10 months. i haven't fiddled any of my details or anything and everything is as it should be. that is fully comp too.

hi, i was just wondering if there are any differences between the 182 and 172's airboxes?
i ask this because my 182 currently has a K&N cone filter and i am going to have to change it for insurance purposes.
apologies if this has been asked before.
thanks
haha, in all honesty i am probably going to be leaving it all standard for now because of insurance costs.
it is a pretty clean car to be honest, minus corrosion and scuffs on the wheels. someone has fitted a K&N filter to it too which i will probably be replacing with the standard airbox...
hi guys, i just bought myself a clio 182 today in black/gold. i was originally after a gordini blue one but saw this one less than 30 mins away from me and it was a good deal, even with 0% finance and low miles (53K).
i am getting delivery of it some day next week and it will take me a month...
