Whats happening at this meet? Meet and chat or a drive?

I have had 2 106 gti's, more fun than the trophy. Trophy is faster around corners but the gti's would be more sideways :). Up to about 60mph there would be hardly anything between them, after 60-70 ish the clio will leave a 106 gti. Would like another 106 gti but i arent getting rid of my trophy...

nathh, how does the trophy drive on the 888's i am tempted to get a set, but i have read mixed opinions about them.

I like it, i realy want to try a dc2 but dont want two front wheel drive cars and i cant see me selling my trophy. 10k sounds fun/ painful lol

Yes they are both good. Just test drive them see what you think. My civic did improve when I fitted toyos, a fast road set up supposdely transforms them again. If I was to have another honda I wouldnt mind trying a dc2 or dc5. Cant see me getting rid of the trophy though

I had a premier type r and hated it mate, i love my clio though. Will admit the engine, box and general build quality of the civic was alot better than my clio

my old 106 gti used to pop bang and shoot flames when i put a pugsport and four branch on it, fucked lamda sensor realy helped :) I dont think i could put up with it again though, good fun when your in the mood pita rest of the time. Clio looks tidy though

The trophy dampers are aprox £1200 (might be more i arent sure) from renault. But if they do go they can be re built for around £500. The other big cost on the 182 is the cam belt, but they should of all been done now. I dont know much about the 197 and i have never driven one. I love my trophy...

Sell trophy tomorrow i would probably get a VX220 Turbo, my plan is keep the Trophy and get a VXT next year or try and save a bit longer and get an exige. I dont think i am ever going to sell my trophy
