It has 4 bids on it now - £5.50

Hiya
I have a 172 Cup which is due to be MOT'd in 3 weeks and hasn't been serviced since Feb 06 (although technically it isnt due a service till 48k - its on just over 44k now) Today the exhaust fell off !!
Can anyone recommend anywhere to fit / supply a new exhaust in Nottingham ...
green light wrote to me and said the too many cups have ended up in single car accidents but they would insure a std 172 if i were to go an get one of those - bit late for that though !!
Im with admiral 2 yrs no claims £623 1 named driver and its parked on the road - Im 28 though so maybe that...
Theres a light on my dash which doesn't light up when I start the engine. Its a warning triangle with a picture of a car tipped slightly to one side with a squiggle underneath it - does anyone know what this is for or why it isnt lighting up ?? I thought it might be something that the cup...
thanks Edde, I already I've tired closing all of the air vents - but no luck there - I'll check out how many blinks the redbutton is doing tomorrow
I have noticed the car has been unlocked a couple of times - which I was putting down to blondeness - however I realised that if I get out first...
My alarm is currently going about once every 5 mintues for no apparent reason, no cars going past no people anywhere near it - any ideas what wrong with and how to fix it or does it need to go to the garage - if this is the case is it just as cheap to get a new alarm fitted ??
The roof on my mx-5 used to leak - i used to used vaseline round the door seals that seemed to stop it - did get a few passengers wondering why i drove around with a tub of vaseline wedged in the ashtray though ..
thanks Rob, will speak to you after crimbo !
In the mean time - Ive remembered some one telling me that if you put your stereo in a sealed plastic bag in the freezer it resets the code - has anyone ever hear this, or tried it before ??? Not so sure about this one. . .
my stereo is coming up with an error message when i turn it on. Its battery has been DC'd so i was expecting it to come up asking for a pin / code, but it isnt
- is the error message because the code has been entered incorrectlly ??
- also i dont have the code (or the manual) any ideas who...
they arent the same as in that pic !! been trawling through ebay to see if i can find any on there !! - but i cant - they are flatter going to have to give in and take pics tomorrow i think !
had a feeling it had been stuck on afterwards - looks kind of wrong ! will try again with the alloys as its too dark and cold to be taking pics ! they have 15-20 spokes about 1cm thick and they are more grey metalic looking than silver
Hi have just told my insurance company my cup is a standard - but to be honest im not sure - what alloys should it have ? what exhaust should it have ?
currently has really spokey gunmetal coloured alloys and a twin exhaust - i.e. two coming out of the same back box not one either side -...
have to agree with the general opinion - its was the cheapest quick small car - still not sure about the front wheel drive yet though - torque steering is taking some getting used to ! . . . i guess cheapness comes at a price
I have to completely agree I test drove an R32 about 2 months ago and just couldnt get excited about it, clutch was soft gear change to long and the steering just way to light - just felt all wrong - again couldnt wait to get back to my old car - there was no way i was swopping my car +10k - i...
I wont argue that experience counts for a lot, but everyone has their own opinion of what makes a good and bad driver. Ive know 22 year olds who've owned 911's and 55 year olds (both of whom randomly ended up parking them in hedges) I guess my point is that not everyone can drive a performance...
someone took to walking over my old car too ... whilst it was parked at tesco on a busy saturday afternoon - i just cant comment - even having a garage at home doesnt help :0(
i cant say either way on the road angel as ive never used one but i have an indigo (will have to check the model) and thats been well worth the money mappings almost fault less ( it did miss one round about - but it was still being built so cant really complain) and its not missed a speed camera yet
