Hi! Think the 172 is service every 12,000 miles? Cambelt I think is recomended at 72,000 miles but alot of people seem to do them at 36,000 / 5 years just in case. Welcome to the club anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy :D
Yeh thanx guys, I will speak to him this afternoon. There's something wierd going on. Maybe H & R are saying they can supply in a week when really they can't?
And no I don't think that price k-tec quoted did include club discount ... I will ask the question when I've decided what I'm doing :)
Have just spoken to k-tec ref my dilemma! H & R have told them they can supply this kit within the week? Although I would have to pay another £40 or so as k-tec are slightly more expensive.
Mmm, beginning to wonder what's going on? Either H & R are lying or I'm being taken for a ride...
Yeh let me know. I think I need 172 coilovers for mine as my 182 has got non-cupped suspension ... apparently 182 cup models have diffrent bolt spacing and the non-supped are the same as the 172 :S
I can't wait much longer!!! Got the wirggles :rasp:
Mmm maybe I'll wait another week or so and see what happens. I'm just so frustrated, especially as I've paid for them. But then don't want to rush in and buy something cheaper and regret it afterwards.
What other makes could I try then if I really can't get H&R's? I don't really need anything...
Hello peeps, I'm currently waiting for my H&R coilovers to come from Yozzasport. I've been waiting over a month now (ordered on 15th June). Apparently there is some hold up at the factory in Germany. I am gutted ... really wanted it all done for the summer (got my YS exhaust to be done at the...
Don't know the part number m8 but i am told that the ones for the non-cupped 182 are the same as for a 172. Ive got mine on order from Yozzasport ... been waiting a while now, starting to get a tad fidgety! Some problem getting them from Germany or summet :(
OMG I know exactly how you feel m8, a few years ago I got some new wheels for my 106 gti, they really looked the nuts ... until my dad reversed about 10 mtrs along the kerb across the road TWO days after they had gone on! Gutted! Worse of all he didnt tell me until I quizzed him about it :dapprove:
This happened to a guy I work with ... I think it turned out to be a relay under the passenger footwell somewhere ... His girlfriend had yanked it out with her feet! Ooops!
Because I had the money and I've heard good things about them. Planning on keeping this car so wanted to do things properly. My car currently has non-cupped suspension so wanted to firm things up a bit.
My mate is fitting them for me. He's got his own workshop / race cars so I hoping he knows what he's doing?!! Nah, I completely trust him. Can't fit them myself, might break a nail! Haha!!
I soooo cannot wait!
Hi guys and gals,
This afternoon I ordered my Yozzasport exhaust system and H & R coillies ... I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself so I thought I would share it with you!
Gotta wait 7-10 days for my coilovers but 'zorst is comin tomorrow ... YIPPEEEE! Pics as soon as it's all done :)
If it's standard Direct Line were the best for me - around £420 ... but mine's just about to be modified and Direct Line won't cover non-standard cars so ended up paying £600 with Diamond.
Erm ... erm?! Yes you would miss the punch of the turbo, yes you would miss the fodda fodda fodda noise of the engine ... and the Subaru's are very reliable I guess. Don't know what to say really, see if you can have a drive of one (preferably without the sales person sitting next to you!), make...
Depends how much you've got to spend I spose. I know you can pick up 172's pretty cheap now and 182's are coming down in price. Maybe have a look in the 'For Sale' section on here to get an idea of price. I don't think there's much between the two models tbh, 'cept 182 has a tiny bit more power...
Hi Dan,
I went from a 2003 Impreza with Prodrive pack to my lil Clio 182 a year and a half ago. I wasn't disappointed at all ... but then I am a girl :) It's jut like a little go-cart!
Nah, honestly you might miss the OMG thow you back in the seat punch that the Impreza gives you but as an...
