well the cavity is 100mm but ive just drawn a cavity tray with a lintel above a window and needed to have 55mm insulation within the cavity tray itself. Turned out that at a drawing scale of 1:5 - the linescale was best at 2.80!

hmmm, well i simply cant get it ot scale properly! ive drawn it in model space. Adjusted the line type to Batting and now i cant get it any thicker so that it fits a 55mm cavity. help!
Guys, i need to show insulation in a cavity wall - my boss mentioned that the easiest way to do this was by 'Batting'? - apparently a command or technique in CAD - im not 100% sure on this - can someone help me please and perhaps tell me how to do this?
